Subject: Rescuing a color washed wall!
Message:
I also am not enamored of the large splotchy blobby effect that came with using torn-up pillowcases for the cloth. I found myself going over many areas where the two colors joined and feathering out, even adding more in many areas with the brush. There is a definite watercolor effect, and it was hard to not get the dreaded "burn marks", but perhaps the two colors are a little too contrasted. I figure I can go over with a third glaze to soften and get a more subtle effect while eliminating the too-tropical tones, but what color and what technique - roller, cheesecloth?
