Subject:	Oil Based Glazing Over Oil Based Cabinets

My semi gloss white oil based 10 year old cabinets are in excellent condition. After cleaning, can I apply an oil based glaze made of oil based off white paint, oil based light brown paint and oil based glaze directly on them? Or should I first apply BIN shellac based primer, then an oil based base coat then oil based glaze as above? Thanks for any advice. Would sure like to eliminate priming and base coating...
