Subject:	How to make a "plaster" finish in bathroom?

I am painting 2 walls and the ceiling in a small bathroom with a beautiful "Mediterranean" blue and would like to offset this with an "aged plaster" finish in chalky white on the remaining two walls. I have a basic understanding of the technique required to achieve this look but am cautious about using this finish in a bathroom, would this effect be too water-permeable to use in such a location?
