Subject: "adding color to wallpaper"?

Hello,
I realized a bit too late that I need an additional roll of border wallpaper for a small bathroom that I just painted. One roll is already up....the problem is I went to re-order and the the dye lot is no longer available. It is a beautiful ivy vine. My question is...if it is slightly different in color...is there any way to "color" it myself?....by using some colored pencils, or pastels? The reason I ask, is because the sample in the wallpaper border book at the store had very beige leaves for the ivy instead of the "green" that I recieved and put up.
