It was somewhat difficult to get the first coat to stick, but the second coat looks ok. I am having a lot of out of town family coming in and simply do not have time to strip it down and start over (not that I really want to LOL). My fear is that the slightest contact will scratch the paint as the base coat did not adhere well. Is there some sort of clear sealant or protectant that will give it a reasonably durable finish?
